Supporting families for more than 10 years

Since 2012, Uniting Salem Early Learning Kambah has been welcoming children from birth to 5 years. On Ngunnawal land and close to Kambah parklands, our long day care centre offers engaging and inclusive early education and preschool programs.

Our commitment to diversity

Our educators, who often stay with us for many years, are committed to making every child feel valued and respected. We value the diverse cultures of our local community, fostering cultural appreciation through partnerships with Aboriginal elders, helping your child learn about the world around them.

Nurturing every stage of development

With our care-based approach to toddlers and babies, our educators meaningfully contribute to your child’s learning experiences by incorporating programs like Aboriginal education and encouraging their communication, physical development, and social and emotional skills. Through open-ended play and structured activities, we foster the curiosity of preschoolers, building their sense of independence.

Natural and stimulating learning spaces

We know how important these early years are, which is why we encourage your child to explore their creativity and self-expression in our stimulating indoor and natural outdoor play spaces. Your child could go from learning about native plants in our bush tucker garden to storytelling in our yarning circles or learning to ride a bike on our track.

Our centre will provide your child with the tools to make the transition to ‘big school’ easy on them and you.

Highly recommend uniting Salem. I’ve had my 2 boys attend and the care they have received have been amazing. The staff really work with our family and the boys to ensure they thrive. The staff are wonderful and caring and know the kids so well they will update us when they notice a change in them.

After visiting a few centres and feeling reluctant to send our son to any daycares we came across Salem and have never looked back. The educators are wonderful and theres always consistency in the staff so we know he’s in good hands. Special mentions for Maria, Parvan & Shenny, we feel very lucky to have them. The centre is always clean and tidy.
