What’s in your bin? Download our waste audit packs for child care centres here

July 13, 2021

Australia’s most trusted child care comparison site, Toddle, and our charity partner Millennium Kids have come together to provide child care centres with free sustainability themed resources.

After the success of the Toddle Green Awards (read more about those here), we were lucky enough to speak with the five winning centres about their day to day sustainability activities. From there, Toddle and Millennium Kids pulled together these helpful resource packs using tips and hints from the winning centres.

What you’ll find in the pack:

1) An overview of how the waste audit fits in with the EYLF framework, national curriculum and UN sustainable development goals.

2) Digital spreadsheets for the three part audit process and helpful hints and tips for starting the audit at your centre.

  • Waste and consumption audit 1: bin & rubbish disposal
  • Waste and consumption audit 2: leadership
  • Waste and consumption audit 3: community actions

3) Five case studies of the Toddle Green Award winning centres

We hope you are inspired and excited to take part in this nationwide initiative to tackle waste in Australia.
