Care for children from babies to school age in a small group at an educator’s home. Educators need to register as a provider, and are rated and assessed for quality. The small group of children tend to be across a wide range of ages.Hours can be flexible depending on what the carers offer, and the needs of the parents.

In some instances, overnight care or care outside regular hours can be arranged. Up to seven children can be cared for by one educator, with a maximum of four if they are preschool aged or younger.
