Your Kids Our Kids Childcare Centre - Chipping Norton

I had planned to send my son to another centre, so YKOK was only meant to be a temporary placement until I got a spot at the other centre.....But I haven't even bothered and we have remained a part of the YKOK family for over 3 years now, we've sent our second child there too, and we no plans to move anywhere else because we are so happy with YKOK! I feel extremely blessed to have met the team at YKOK, especially the educators who have been caring for and teaching my children. Both my children have settled in very quickly, love the centre and their educators. The educators have a genuine interest in my children and our family, the rapport with with all of us is amazing and I always get daily updates on my children's progress or any developmental concerns that I may have answered. It is always easy to communicate with educators and management, and any feedback I have for the centre is always respected and actioned within appropriate timeframes. As a paediatric OT by background, I can be quite picky when it comes to childhood education, relationships between educator and child, educators having understanding of child development (they often share updates of PD that they do too), behavioural management strategies that are used, developmental/educational activities and particularly a transition to school program in the preschool year. YKOK is great in that daily activities are tailored to children's current interests and activities that they have been involved in at home/over the weekend, and the class sizes are not very big which is great for building closer connections with peers and educators. Additionally, the YKOK centre is so special and lucky in that management team has a qualified speech pathologist who has helped to develop the transition to school program and she is always at the centre to address any concerns related to speech, language, behaviour and overall development. There are family events organised, as well as incursions and excursions for the children such as library visits, reptile shows, drumming, ice cream trucks and jumping castles all free of charge to the families. I always highly recommend YKOK for my friends who are looking for a childcare or preschool service and would recommend the centre for anyone who is looking for a truly dedicated team of staff who have their best interest for the families and children. I couldn't have stumbled across a better childcare centre for my children! Thanks YKOK fam 😊💖
