About Woodrising Natural Learning Centre
We are a non-profit long day care centre situated in Woodrising, in beautiful Lake Macquarie. We value natural learning in natural environments. We support the children to engage in interest based, exploratory play – something that is intrinsically motivated and not forced upon the children. We believe that through these natural experiences, children are provided with opportunities to make connections, develop skills and share and deepen their understanding. Through regular bushwalks, animals in our service and gardening programs, children have numerous opportunities to connect with nature.
Our centre operates between 7am-6pm Monday-Friday and is open for approximately 50 weeks per year. We cater for children aged 2-6years.

I can’t rave about this place enough. The educators are incredible, the programming is amazing & the quality of care is just outstanding! Such happy little explorers & genuinely passionate staff fill this Centre. I’d rate it 20/5 if I could!
