About Woodgreen Early Learning Centre (Waiting List open for 2027 & 2028)

Nothing Comes Close to Woodgreen

There’s nothing like it out there.

Many childcare centres operate as large, commercial services — focused on numbers, turnover, and expansion. Woodgreen is different.

It isn’t a commercial childcare centre — it’s a labour of heart and soul. Every part of it has been built with love, care, and purpose, creating a place where children and families truly belong.

With only 48 places, we remain small by design so that every child is known, every relationship is genuine, and every moment matters. Even with over 300 enquiries each year, our commitment has never been to grow bigger — only to grow better.

Be wary of judging early learning by NQS ratings or fees — they are not true indicators of quality. The current NQS rating system in early childhood education does not reflect the true quality of a service. It measures paperwork, not passion, compliance, not connection. What truly defines quality are the relationships, warmth, and sense of belonging that children experience every day.

There could be as few as 1 in 100 childcare services in New South Wales that operate with the same depth of care, integrity, and purpose as Woodgreen.

At Woodgreen, quality is felt in the warmth of our welcome, the calm of our environment, and the care that guides every decision we make.

Families often say Woodgreen feels different — warm, calm, and deeply personal. Because when something is created with love, heart and soul, nothing comes close to Woodgreen.

Others may offer size or show, but Woodgreen offers something rarer — authentic quality built on love, care, and integrity. That’s why, when families compare, they discover that nothing comes close to Woodgreen.

Woodgreen Early Learning Centre – A Heartfelt Recommendation We moved to Strathfield two years ago, and at first we were unsure which early learning centre to enrol our younger child in. Thanks to a friend’s recommendation, we applied to Woodgreen – and after waiting a few months for availability, we were very glad we did. Compared with the three different centres our older child attended and the two our younger child tried before, Woodgreen clearly stands out as the best. From the impeccable cleanliness, structured environment, and professional standards, to the high calibre of teachers — the entire experience has impressed us. Our children have not only learned knowledge and social skills, but also good manners, proper behaviour habits, and important life skills. We valued Woodgreen so much that we chose to keep our son enrolled for an additional year, instead of sending him to pre-kindy at his primary school. That decision turned out to be exactly right. We are sincerely grateful to the director, Miss Amani, and every educator at Woodgreen for their dedication. Their care and professionalism have made a profound positive impact on our family, especially on our son Kevin. Moreover, the graduation ceremony this Monday was the most impressive we have ever experienced. Miss Amani prepared everything perfectly — from the high-quality dinner to the meaningful, beautifully organised ceremony that gave the children a strong sense of celebration. We wholeheartedly recommend Woodgreen to any family. Thank you for everything.

Response from the owner9 days ago

Thank you so much for your beautiful review. Your words genuinely warmed our hearts here at Woodgreen. It has been an absolute pleasure watching Kevin grow during his two and half years with us. He is such a polite, kind and bright little boy, and seeing his confidence and independence develop has brought so much joy to our educators. Knowing that your family chose to keep him with us for an additional year is something we truly appreciate — it means the world to us. We’re grateful for your recognition of our educators, the environment we’ve created, and the care we put into every detail. The team works incredibly hard each day, and feedback like this reminds us why we are so passionate about what we do. We are also delighted to hear that the 2025 preschool graduation ceremony at Aqua Luna was memorable for your family. We wanted it to feel meaningful, special, and truly focused on celebrating the children — and it makes us so happy that you felt this on the night. Thank you again for your trust, your support, and your heartfelt recommendation. Kevin will always be part of the Woodgreen family, and we wish your family all the very best in the years ahead.
