Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centre & Pre-School St Albans

Worst experience with this childcare centre. We were intended to send our 8mo daughter to this childcare end of March but still not sure about the date. My husband put down the deposit, he was aware of it being non refundable if we cancelled the enrolment. He told them he might have to delay the enrollment before the money was taken. They first made me think that this fee will be kept for us as long as we commence care with them but it is not. My parents retired as they wanted to spend some quality time with their grandkid and we decided to send her to childcare after she turns one. I communicated with Whizkidz that if we could delay the enrolment and will go back to them in July for my baby to start care. They told me the fee was lost if enrolment not commenced within 4 weeks, which I had no idea about. They never mentioned about the 4 week thing before. It wasn't like I took my kid somewhere else, I would go back to their centre. They said well then you had to pay the enrolment fee $100 AGAIN. I haven't taken my daughter to any orientation day and got charged $100 not knowing that we needed to take her there in 4 weeks. All of this was only told after the money taken. I will need to talk to Consumer Affair about this centre. NEVER SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE as what they want is MONEY. Greenleaves in Cairnlea is better 😄
