Where We Grow Gembrook

Where We Grow Gembrook is a privately run, purpose built centre that was designed with children’s needs of comfort, safety and exploration in mind.

Our rooms are spacious, comfortable and fun, while our outdoor areas encourage children to experience the natural environment with wonder and curiosity.

Our Educational Programs are created on an individual basis and children are encouraged to develop skills and knowledge at a pace that is unhurried and supported by highly trained educators.

We value each child for their uniqueness and celebrate them as curious learners.

Maple Program – Typically catering for children in the 0-18 month age group – This room will allow for a maximum of 8 children

Birch Program – Typically catering for children who are 1.5 to 2.5 years - This room will allow for a maximum of 12 children

Oak Program – Typically catering for children who are 2.5 to 3.5 years - This room will allow for a maximum of 14 children

Elm Program – Typically catering to children from 3.5 years, being our Kindergarten program, will allow for maximum 12 children

The age groupings of our programs are a guide as we use information about the child as a whole when determining if they are ready to be supported to progress to the next learning environment.

Considering that each child is an individual, we look at their current skills and knowledge and confidence levels to ensure that they are transitioned at a time that is in their best interests, rather than using only their age as a factor.

Our centre is located at 103 Main St Gembrook.

The hours of operation are 6.30 am till 6.30 pm.

Fees will be charged at a daily rate of $85 and families who are eligible are able to claim their Childcare Benefit (CCB) and Childcare Rebate (CCR).

Fees include all food, drinks and snacks, sunscreen, cow’s milk and soy milk, nappies and additional education programs such as incursions and excursions.
