About Wentworthville Childcare & Preschool

Wentworthville Childcare & Preschool is more than a childcare service – it’s a welcoming community where children and families feel supported, safe, and connected.

Led by Jing Zhang, an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with over 15 years in the sector, our centre is trusted by local families for its warm atmosphere and long-standing, dedicated team. All of our educators are permanent staff, well known in the community, and committed to creating strong, lasting relationships with children and families.

Our purpose-built centre caters for 72 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and education. Families value the stability and high standards we provide, including:

- A preschool program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), enriched with PreLit Literacy, Montessori-inspired learning, and a comprehensive School Readiness Curriculum.

- An Educational Leader and a weekly consultant from Sydney University (currently completing a PhD in inclusive teaching) to ensure programs remain innovative and inclusive.

- The highest safety standards, with a full-time compliance manager on site five days a week.

- Nutritious meals prepared daily by Kids Gourmet Food.

- No hidden fees – our daily rate includes regular incursions three times a week plus monthly themed events such as Hatch and Grow, Healthy Harold, Ranger Jamie, Beyond the Beanstalk, and more.

- Strong community connections through local excursions, incursions, and charitable projects.

We are open 52 weeks a year (excluding public holidays), Monday to Friday from 7:00am – 6:00pm. Child Care Subsidy and Start Strong Funding are available for eligible families.

Good Afternoon I just wanted to share how truly happy I am with how my daughters’ orientation went yesterday. The educators and the centre manager were so warm, caring and welcoming, and they made the whole experience such a positive one. The girls had the best time and did not cry once, they were genuinely so happy to be there. It means so much to see them excited and comfortable from the very beginning, and I am so grateful to the team for creating such a beautiful first experience. From Charbel and Katia El-Halabi
