About Wellington Point Day Care Centre
Welcome to Wellington Point Day Care Centre, proudly licensed by the Office of Early Childhood Queensland to deliver exceptional educational programs. Situated at the intersection of Valley and Herbert Streets in Wellington Point, QLD 4160, our centre accommodates up to 118 children daily, ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
We offer a comprehensive range of services including early childhood programs, kindergarten programs, before and after school care, as well as vacation care. Our commitment to quality education is underscored by our accreditation to provide Centre-Based Care for up to 127 children, endorsed by ACECQA since 17 May 2010.
Wellington Point Day Care Centre strives for excellence, reflected in our current National Quality Standard (NQS) rating of Working Towards NQS under the National Quality Framework. Our dedication to continuous improvement is evidenced by our most recent NQS assessment and rating conducted by ACECQA on 01 April 2023.

DO NOT use this daycare centre if either you or your child have mobility issues. The staff are disrespectful to disability permit holders and repeatedly unlawfully use these designated spaces without a permit on their vehicle when out in the community. When confronted about their misuse of the disability parking space, WelloKids staff told me "If you ever need to use the space just come and find us inside and we will move our vehicle for you." Again and again they continue to take up disability parking spaces with their vehicle with no care of the impact it has on those who have permission to use them. Such arrogance and ignorance is not acceptable from a business who cares for children. Shame on you WelloKids! Educate your staff on the laws!
