Our Preschool and Nursery
Waratah Preschool and Nursery has provided quality early childhood education and care to children and their families in the Berowra area for over thirty years. Sa Chen and Hui Zhao became the centre owners in September 2009 , and have successfully built a strong foundations to offer a nurturing and educational environment for children in their care.
Our centre is a fifty-six place long day care and preschool centre for children aged 0 to 6 years.
We open from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We also offer a short day for the preschooler (Waratah) room from 8.30am to 3.30pm to offer flexible hours to meet the local families needs.
Structured programs are provided for children in three age groups and rooms:
- 8 infants (Bottlebrush room) 0 to 18 months
- 15 toddlers (Wattle room) 18 months to 2.5 years
- 30 preschoolers (Waratah room) 2.5 years to 6 years.
About us
Waratah Preschool and Nursery has a rich history, having provided quality early childhood education and care to Berowra families for over 30 years.
We are a preschool and long day care centre for children aged 0 to 6 years.
Open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, the centre is fully approved for the Australian government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) fee assistance.
Nutritious meals are provided for all children throughout the day by Kids Gourmet Food.
We are located close to public transport, with easy access and parking in a natural, residential area.
