About Victor Harbor World Of Learning Long Daycare and Preschool
Welcome to Victor Harbor World Of Learning. We're ideally located for families in Victor Harbor, McCracken, Franklin Island, Yilki, Back Valley, Encounter Bay, Hayborough and Hindmarsh Valley.
Our Long Daycare and Preschool Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our dedicated, longstanding team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

Not one good vibe on my tour at all, was walked to the back and told how many meals they provide and that they provide nappies. THAT IS ALL. Then felt the vibe like that’s it you can go now. Didn’t talk or acknowledge my daughter once, they seem very uncaring and unprofessional. (You can tell this by their response to other bad reviews, copied and pasted with no care or consideration on fixing the issue) Don’t understand why work with children if you don’t even acknowledge them on their tour let alone smile. Kids pick up this stuff. Was told on my tour they could fit my daughter in mon-tues in September and we would gradually add more days, didn’t get my follow up phone call so I called to check to find out there was a note left but no one actioned it, and now I’ve lost that spot.. They tried to say due to staffing after I called a second time but the first call they said it’s because it wasn’t actioned. Like I said uncaring and unprofessional, don’t waste your time on a ‘wait list’ and go elsewhere. These are the people you are meant to trust leaving your child with, to look after and teach. I would not want my daughter learning one thing from this group if that’s how they act.

Such a friendly, welcoming Family atmosphere within the Centre. We are always greeted warmly by all who we come across and my little one loves it there. No query or request is ever too hard and they are always happy to supply more information when requested. I’m extremely happy with this Early Learning Centre.

Constant illnesses, unexplained injuries, absolutely no communication from anyone, multiple phone calls to the centre and board of education regarding hygiene practices. The current 2IC is easily the most condescending person I've met and cancelled my childs bookings without asking/letting me know why, until i came in and said I cant be bothered with them and unenrolled her myself. Disgusting.
