About Una Springwood
Welcome to Una Springwood, we are a new centre located on Murrajong Road and attached to the back of Sprinwood Central Primary School. We cater for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. We have 7 rooms, with 2 Nurseries, 1 Toddlers, 2 Senior Toddlers, 1 Pre-Kindy and 1 Kindergarten. We have very experienced staff with a 4 year qualified ECT running our Kindergarten program. Our Philosophy is all about Rewilding your Childhood, getting back to natutre and exploring. We participate in weekly Intergenerational aged care visits and Hee dee ho music classes.
Here at Una we provide all nappies, wipes etc, and our meals are prepared fresh everyday on the premises by our very own in house Chef. Our Director has 34 years in the Industry and our Educational Leader has 20 years.
We have our very own water park/ creek which we utilise on a daily basis, as well as our yarning circle. IIf you are in the area why not pop in and say hi, we would love to meet you and show you around our beautiful centre.

What we love most about Una is the educators. They are thoughtful, warm, and truly invested in each child. You can feel the care they bring to everything they do, and that’s what makes Una so special. The beautiful outdoor space and chickens are lovely, but it’s the people who make it feel like home. Una has been such a gift to our family.

I had gone to a few tours while looking for a daycare for my son and Una Springwood was the only one that caught my attention. All the staff were super friendly and acknowledged myself and my son during our tour which we didn't receive at other daycares! I did not hesitate to fill out the application for my son to attend Una as I loved their idea of nature and outdoor play, acknowledgement of culture, and feeling the sense of unity. During my sons first few weeks, he had two particular teachers (Miss Ana and Miss Kiaro) that have made the experience here beautiful so far. I can see just how much my son trusts them and is very comfortable with them and that is very reassuring for us parents. They have a calm, reassuring and attentive nature which makes morning drop off that little bit easier as I always can feel he is in safe and trusted hands! With being a first-time mum, I do find it very hard to leave him, however, seeing the smile he has with them both before I leave makes it that little bit easier for me to say goodbye. I'm so happy to have picked Una Springwood as my sons first daycare and can't wait to see how my son grows and learns with all the staff there 🥰
