Tyabb Village Children's Centre

It took us three daycare’s to find one that fit for our family. It was so important to find a daycare with a low staff turnover so we could get to know who was looking after our child and build that trust and relationship so we knew our child was in good hands. We’ve seen multiple staff leave for maternity leave and come back- which is such a testament to the kind of centre it is. The staff clearly love it there and want to return. They’ve taught our daughter body autonomy (which we’ve seen in action when she’ll tell people she’s the boss of her body), they’ve nurtured her pride for her Indigenous culture and for us they have been a huge support if ever our family has needed it. Lavinia and Richard are the owners and you see them every day. Lavinia behind the counter greeting you and your child and Richard making the most amazing meals for the kids in the kitchen. The dialogue is always open and I’m very grateful to have stumbled across the most amazing daycare. I highly recommend
