About Twinkle Tots Cottage - Waitara
Twinkle Tots Cottage is a premium boutique child care centre beautifully located in Waitara. Conviently located 10-12 minutes walk from Hornsby Hospital, Waitara Public School and Waitara and Hornsby Train Station
We cater for young learners from 6 weeks to 6 years. We are open 6.30am-6.30pm weekdays and are located within a 10-15 minute walk to Waitara and Hornsby station.
It is the philosphy of Twinkle Tots Cottage is for children to learn through play-based learning with intentional and spontanous learning scaffolled by our qualifed educators. We offer small groupings to allow optimum learning environments for children. At Twinkle Tots Cottage we pride ourselves on giving your child the appropriate care and education by offering an abundance of resources, natural environments and up to date teaching practices and pedagogies.

My now 3-year-old has been attending Twinkle Tot Cottage for the last six months, and he has settled in well. I was nervous about the transition and did a lot of research and quite a few tours at different places before deciding on TTC. This was because my son had been going to a large chain daycare, and he never really settled in, even after a year of regular attendance. TTC was like a breath of fresh air. My little one didn’t even cry at the orientation – he was very curious and quickly bonded with the educators. I love that the classes are smaller, yet there is sufficient outdoor space for the kids to burn their energy. The educators all have worked at the daycares for a while and seem to care for the kids. The extra curriculum teacher for Yoga and language lessons was also a bonus. Now, when I ask my LO who is his favorite teacher in school, he lists almost all the educator's name one after the other, and he says, so and so “is so funny”, with a smile on his face, which warms my heart. I highly recommend the center to anyone looking for a daycare with a personal touch where you can be sure that your LO can enjoy attending.
