About Thurgoona Pre-school
The operation of the preschool is regulated by the Department of Education, through the Early Childhood and Care Directorate. In 2015 our preschool was proudly rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards by ACECQA.
Our preschool was established in 1981 and relocated to the current premises at Bottlebrush Street, Thurgoona in 1992. The preschool is situated at 29 Bottlebrush Street, Corry’s Wood Thurgoona, adjacent to Thurgoona Public School.
In 2012 the preschool expanded to become a two unit preschool enabling us to provide a preschool education to more children from the Thurgoona and local community. We are now licensed to cater for up to 50 children each day. There is a maximum of 25 children attending in each room, with a minimum ratio of one educator to every ten children.
The preschool is set in a beautiful and natural setting, with indoor and outdoor play areas that promote exploration and discovery for the children. The preschool is situated close to local shops, universities and schools and is within walking distance for many preschool families.
We are lucky to work in partnership with Albury City who own our preschool building and assist in the maintenance of our beautiful preschool.

Thurgoona Pre-school Reviews

This pre school costs more than others in the area and provides a below standard early education compared to other preschools. Their unwillingness to discuss issues and listen to concerned parents that aren't on the "committee" was worrying. Our child so far has had more progression back in a daycare than here. Highly recommended that you investigate other preschools and options before going here.
