About The Learning Sanctuary Park Orchards Long Daycare and Kindergarten
Welcome to The Learning Sanctuary Park Orchards. We're ideally located for families in Park Orchards, Ringwood North, Warranwood, Warrandyte, Donvale, Nelsons Hill, Croydon Hills and Ringwood.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
At The Learning Sanctuary Park Orchards, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our longstanding and dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a variety of learning experiences including.
- Sports Program: Allows the children to be active and learn about different sports and movements.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.
- Kitchen Garden program: This program is a fun, hands-on approach to teaching children about fresh, seasonal, delicious food so they form positive food habits for life.
- Bush Kinder: Children engage in and learn about their environments and their ecosystem at the local park, the learnings from bush kinder are then incorporated into the children’s educational program at the centre.

My daughter has been attending this childcare for about three years. Many of the educators who have cared for her are still working in different rooms, so she loves sharing everything she experiences with them whenever she sees them. I believe this continuity makes her feel comfortable. I highly recommend this childcare.

The Learning Sanctuary and the Educators / Staff are fantastic. Nurturing, thoughtful and so caring. They build great relationships with the children and parents and are great with communication.

Recently moved our daughter here and the support with transitioning from one centre to another has been amazing. The team are always so happy and so welcoming, and our daughter is always happy when we pick her up. Really feeling comfortable and excited for our future at the Learning Sanctuary.
