Let me start with good thing. Gary who runs this centre is absolutely great guy. I saw him so many times engaging kids with guitar. Awesome guy. But may be his hands are tied in some scenarios such as what I am mentioning below. We just moved away from Springfield lakes and my kid was part of this centre until recently. Soo many issues with educators. They don't have basic knowledge on children psychology. I don't have stats with me but I am 100% sure 90% of staff have less than 3 year experience. Not one can make a coherent statement about child education. Not one can handle children psychology. They are just here for nappy duty. If you want your toddler to learn or be ready for next step, better avoid this centre. If you ever ask for updates they make useless incoherent statements just like a text book read. They mix some geeky words from child care education book here and there. Nothing seems like they understood what they are saying. If you ask me educators needs some extra training on what exactly child care is. Things will go missing constantly. I saw toddlers with dirty nappies. And few times unfortunate to my eyes, I saw staff dragging 3 year toddlers to nappy change room. They are kids ..they walk slow and at their own pace. But instead of waiting for them ( to reasonable extent) to walk, I saw they were being dragged with hand to match pace of educator. I almost cried when I saw this done to other kid. I am sure must have happened to my kids as well.the only reason I continued there was due to not getting my preferred days anywhere and some what Gary and very few other educators . Not a great experience. They could do better. It was not always like this according to my friends. There were very good teachers some time ago. Hope Gary reads this and make some decisions. This is my honest opinion though it sounds harsh. Thanks .
