About The Hills Long Day Pre-School

Welcome to Hills Long Day Preschool!

As an accredited child care center, we're licensed to nurture up to 39 children daily, aged 3 to 6 years old. Our doors are open from 7:45am to 5:45pm, Monday to Friday, for approximately 50 weeks a year, with a brief closure over the Christmas period.

Founded by Donna Thurbon in 1994, alongside her husband Dennis, our preschool is a family-owned establishment. Donna, as Licensee, works closely with our dedicated team, led by Director Melinda Hayes and our Educational Leader Jayne Pearce who has been her since 1999. Committed to exceeding standards, we ensure ample qualified staff for optimal care.

At Hills Long Day Preschool, we prioritize nutrition, providing morning and afternoon tea while encouraging nutritious packed lunches. Additionally, we offer access to My Family Lounge, an online platform enabling you to stay updated on your child's activities, with observations, learning stories, and newsletters readily available via web browser or app.

The Hills Long Day Preschool has been a great and nurturing environment. My children have settled in well and created bonds with each of their educators. The centre is always clean and welcoming, their communication is second to none. They have always been accommodating and worked with us as parents. Highly recommend!
