Cubbyhouse Montessori is a welcoming Children's House providing a relaxed and homely atmosphere where children can feel happy and secure. With a dedicated team of educators who have been working with The Gap families for ages. 

Cubbyhouse Montessori is a family owned service that embraces the Montessori Philosophy. We welcome all children and their families and pride ourselves on our inclusive and diverse community. We believe that the Early Years are the most important for the growing child echoing Maria Montessori’s vision that “…the tiny child’s absorbent mind finds all its nutriment in its surroundings.” Our fee includes weekly extra-curriculars such as gymnastics, art, music, and sensory play lessons, as well as monthly extraordinary incursions like visits from the fire fighters, or theater, or OceanLife. 

Our environment both inside and outside support the developmental needs of every child facilitating their unique qualities. Children learn at their own pace gaining independence, confidence and competence with the gentle guidance of our trained educators. Our aim is to foster joyful lifelong learners that can grow into compassionate and resilient adults. Families do not need to worry about bringing anything else other than lots of spare clothes and a water bottle. We provide nutritionist-approved meals cooked in-house by our chef, nappies, sunscreen, hat, sheets, and all the program, the care and the fun!
