Sustainable Play Preschool

We provide high-quality education and care for children aged 2-6 years, in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle area. We are a small day care centre with sustainability at the heart of our mission, teaching children environmentally friendly and regenerative routines through our play-based, child-led educational curriculum. We encourage nature play and connection with the natural world through our bush kindy program, nature crafting and garden to table lessons. Children are invited to spend as much time outdoors as they would like in our large outdoor environments. We offer weekly music classes, art activities, heavy work opportunities, risky play, sensory play, STEM activities, and more - all while our educators care for your child using the RIE respectful caregiving approach that values connection and the child's agency. Our preschoolers and staff eat from our award winning plant-based menu of meals and snacks, made fresh daily. Our team is passionate about child empowerment, respectful caregiving and teaching the next generation that they can make a positive impact in the world.
