Surrey Downs Kindergarten & Occasional Care

At the beginning of this year, we were filled with fear and uncertainty. With our son’s global developmental delay, we worried we would never find a kindergarten that would truly accept him, understand him, and give him the chance to learn alongside other children. We were scared he would be overlooked… that his needs would be “too hard”… and that we’d spend another year fighting for the support he deserves. But then we found Chloe at Surrey Downs Kindergarten... Chloe and her incredible team have shown our family a level of care, compassion, and commitment that is honestly beyond anything we ever expected. Chloe has spent countless hours getting to know our son, reaching out to his therapists, organising testing and meetings, welcoming professionals onsite, and doing everything she can to understand how he learns, how he communicates, and who he is. She has made sure he is included in every single activity, not by asking him to fit into a box, but by finding ways to make that box fit him. She ensured he had one-on-one support throughout the year, created a safe space for him to regulate when needed, and treated him with patience, respect, and genuine love. Because of this team, our son has grown more than we ever imagined possible. We have watched him learn, connect, and shine in ways that bring us to tears. The difference Surrey Downs Kindergarten has made in his life, and in ours, is immeasurable. We are endlessly grateful. There are truly no words big enough to thank Chloe and her team for what they have done for our boy and for our family. We would recommend this kindergarten above any other, without hesitation!
