About Stirling Community Early Learning Centre

We use the Early Years Learning Framework as a basis for planning for children's learning. It guides us in setting up the environment, the selection and use of resources, our interaction with children and implementation of our learning program. Young children learn through play, exploring, experimenting, creating and practicing new skills. Our environments both inside and outside are designed to support social play, with educators facilitating the development of social skills. Along with the team in the Kindy room, the Teacher regularly assesses children's learning, with a view to school readiness. Whenever possible we choose natural materials to resource our program. Connecting children with the natural world is a priority for us and we teach children about caring for the environment on a daily basis
