Start Strong Early Learning Centre

We followed the staff and educators from their old centre (where my child was from 6 months to almost 5) to Start Strong. That alone is a testament but I'll expand. Mary, the staff and the educators are all wonderful, caring, patient, experienced, kind and helpful. Any questions are answered with patience and grace. They always have time for you. They don't treat you as a number, you are treated like family. There are no raised voices at children, each child is considered as an individual. My child is comforted if / when upset. My child is always happy at pick-up and tells they've had a good day. The cook makes delicious, nutritious and healthy food. There is always plenty if they want more. The education they receive readies them for school, as well as STEM, craft, and the usual age appropriate activities. One day, my child wore something non-traditional to school and the educators were wonderful and amazing with my child, they embraced the individuality, and afterwards put thought and consideration into the matter by piveting the week's (already planned) lessons to focus on this individuality. As a parent, I can't understate how much that compassion and care meant to me. And that is fundamentally at the heart of what Start Strong is, a centre where your child is supported, safe, included, educated, comforted and treated as an individual (not a tiny little dollar sign).
