St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff

St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff is an 84-place Cardiff childcare and early learning centre, providing exceptional early childhood education in a nurturing and vibrant environment. The centre features bright, engaging playrooms that open into an atrium-style outdoor play area, offering a variety of natural and man-made play equipment. As a key part of the Cardiff child care service, we provide quality care designed to support your child’s cognitive development opportunities and overall growth.

Centrally located in the heart of Cardiff’s business district, our childcare centre offers convenient drop-off and pick-up options for local families and commuters. We take pride in being an essential part of the local community, ensuring our families have easy access to the best Cardiff daycare and early learning facilities.

As part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, St Nicholas Cardiff preschool offers a unique educational pathway, with *greater priority enrolment at nearby Catholic schools like St Kevin’s Primary School, Cardiff, and St Mary’s Primary School, Warners Bay. This is supported by St Nicholas’ highly regarded Transition to School program, which ensures that your child’s life is enriched with educational experiences designed to prepare them for a smooth transition to school.

Our Cardiff childcare centre’s outdoor space is a key feature of the nurturing environment we provide. A wooden pirate ship, constructed with locally sourced materials, serves as the centrepiece of the outdoor play area. Children can enjoy exploring the ship’s portholes, sails, and crow’s nest while engaging with nature and each other. The space also features landscaped gardens, vibrant wall colours, and sandstone sandpits, all providing endless opportunities for discovery, physical activity, and imaginative play.
