St George Montessori Long Day Care

Since 2005, our Peakhurst Service has been recognized for delivering high-quality learning experiences and building strong community relationships. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional educational programs.

Recently renovated, our service features a state-of-the-art outdoor space designed around the Montessori approach developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. This environment fosters self-confidence and self-discipline, helping children aged three to six develop a lifelong love for learning.

Our core Montessori curriculum covers practical life skills, sensory development, literacy, numeracy, science, geography, and art, ensuring a solid foundation for school readiness. We also incorporate the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for a holistic learning experience.

Our preschool room is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, school-based activities, and computers. Sustainability is integral to our philosophy, encouraging nature play, gardening, egg collection, and recycling to promote environmental care.
