About St Anthony's Kindergarten, Alexandra Hills
Conveniently located at St Anthony’s Primary School, your child will benefit from our close relationship with the school. Our children make weekly visits to the school library to borrow books and your child will be given responsibility for caring for and returning these books. They also enjoy visits with their grade four reading buddies, visits to the prep classrooms and playgrounds and attending school events including sports carnivals, book week and liturgies. During each visit your child will become more familiar with the school grounds and learn practical new skills, like how to use the water bubblers. Our educators will watch your child’s confidence grow as they become part of our broader school and parish community and prepare for prep.
At St Anthony’s we have expansive natural outdoor play areas which provide children with a unique learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration. We believe each child is unique and learns differently. Our educators will spend time getting to know your child and family so that they can create engaging learning experiences that capture their interest and help them build new skills.
We offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program taught by a university qualified early childhood teacher. As a sessional kindergarten children complete a five-day fortnight, during school hours and school terms.

This past year at St Anthony’s Kindergarten has been nothing short of phenomenal. There wasn’t a single issue or hiccup throughout the entire year and that speaks volumes about the exceptional environment created by Paul and Heather. Under their care my daughter felt so safe, secure and valued which has prepared her beautifully for prep next month. In all my years in the ECE industry, I have never encountered educators as caring, loving, supportive and dedicated as Paul and Heather. They have gone above and beyond to create a space where children can thrive emotionally, socially and academically. Their passion and commitment to their work is truly inspiring. I will wholeheartedly recommend Paul, Heather and the incredible program at St A’s Kindergarten for as long as I can. They have made such a meaningful impact on my daughters life and I hope she remembers these special people and this formative experience for many many maaaaany years to come.

Our family has had an incredible experience with St Anthony's Kindergarten. The teachers create a nurturing, fun, and stimulating environment where children truly thrive. My child loves going to kindy every day and comes home excited to share all the new things they’ve learned. The team is not only professional and attentive but also genuinely care about each child's development. They take the time to understand individual needs and create meaningful learning experiences. The sense of community they've built is heartwarming, and it's clear how much effort they put into fostering relationships with both children and families.
