Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Karana Downs! Our beautiful 67 place centre is located on a quiet, leafy street surrounded by local shops and a golf course. We offer early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a warm, nurturing environment that supports growth, development and wellbeing.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on natural elements and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate each child as unique and focus our programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child in our care.

Engaging, age-appropriate play spaces are carefully designed to stimulate curiosity, learning and imagination. Educators plan hands-on learning experiences reflective of real life, encouraging learning through meaningful interactions.

Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators. 

Beautiful outdoor spaces provide further opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play, with children enjoying the unstructured open green spaces, cubby houses and slide.

Our kindergarten program is led by a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher. An integrated School Readiness Program ensures children are supported to develop the language, literacy, numeracy and social skills required for a smooth transition to school.
