Sparrow Early Learning Drouin

Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Drouin! We are a 52 place service that provides individualised early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in an inclusive and nurturing home-like environment. We are proud to have a team of long-standing and passionate educators who are highly valued by children and their families, as well as the wider community. 

Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate each child as unique and our dedicated educators focus programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child.

Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators. 

Outdoor learning spaces merge natural elements like rocks, logs and open grassy areas with wooden hut, climbing structures, play equipment and sandpit to provide limitless opportunities for unstructured, imaginative play with friends.

Our kindergarten program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is led by a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher. An integrated School Readiness Program ensures children are supported to develop the language, literacy, numeracy and social skills required for a smooth transition to school.
