Sparrow Early Learning Camillo

Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Camillo! We provide early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years of age in a welcoming, homely environment that supports children and families to feel nurtured, safe and secure. We celebrate the diversity of our families and value the unique backgrounds, needs, strengths and interests of each individual child to best support their feelings of belonging and wellbeing.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our wonderful educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum that supports the individual social and developmental needs of children. Engaging, age-appropriate play spaces are carefully designed to stimulate curiosity, learning and imagination. Educators plan hands-on learning experiences reflective of real life, guiding children to learn through meaningful interactions with their peers and educators.

Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and to stimulate social interactions.

Engaging outdoor spaces provide further opportunities for imaginative and collaborative play with children enjoying the unstructured open green spaces, quiet shady areas, sandpits and playground, under the protection of shade sails. Our vegetable garden is used to plant, grow, harvest and eat produce in our daily meals.

We offer an approved kindergarten program which is led by a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher. An Integrated School Readiness program ensures our children are adequately prepared for a smooth transition to school.
