About Sparrow Early Learning Alkimos
At Sparrow Alkimos, we have a fantastic, purpose-built centre with four very spacious rooms, well stacked with resources for the children to interact with. Our centre is licensed for 72 children per day and is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm. Included in our fees are nutritious meals which are freshly prepared by our in-house cook and menus have been developed to ensure our children receive a well-balanced diet.
We have wonderful natural outdoor play spaces, including a water play area, a veggie patch, sand play areas, luscious grassed areas for the children to crawl, walk and run on and a small forest of trees to explore in.
We have had incursions and also started going on excursions in the community. We have ‘Happy Feet’ dance and movement program and ‘Yoga Lisa’ come to our centre on a regular basis. We provide a wide range of activities and experiences on our programs.
Our team is dedicated to providing a safe, friendly environment that nurtures your child’s social and educational development. Our aim is to provide experiences so that children become successful, competent and capable learners. Whether you are looking for a new care and education centre or placing your child into care for the first time, feel confident that we will provide you outstanding service.

Sparrow Shorehaven/Alkimos came highly recommended by many in the community. We are so glad we went with the recommendation for our son. It’s hard leaving your baby in the trust of a stranger, but Cody made it easy to trust her and the others. The most caring and tentative teachers I’ve ever met. This is the last of 5 kids for us and all have attended daycare from very young. We are the most impressed with Sparrows. The center is always clean and smells amazing as they cook lunch ect. My son is well cared for and always comes home happy. What more can a parent want. They are great at communicating and posting stories and photos of your baby throughout the day. It’s a no wonder they are almost always fully booked out.

I have loved Sparrow Alkimos! My daughter loves her teachers and they always update me on how her day has been. They listen to any concerns and are flexible with what she needs. The food and activities are brilliant for the age groups. I so appreciate every one of the educators and staff who have helped her grow. I would recommend Sparrow Alkimos if you are looking for a warm, family friendly centre.

Aamazing Centre. My daughter attended sparrow early learning alkimos for 2 years and my son has been there since he was a baby. Highly recommend, the staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond.

Alkimos sparrow early learning has been nothing but accommodating and supportive of my daughter and family! My 3 year old has returned back to sparrow after major heart surgery and the love and care given to her is amazing. I could not recommend these amazing ladies enough! My kids have loved being in their care and I will continue to recommend their services to many other parents and care givers 🙏🏽
