Shveta’s Family Day Care

 Hello Families,

I want to introduce myself as a happy, organised, confident and creative early childhood Educator. I have been actively working in the childcare industry for more than 4 years. I have gained extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards. I believe both myself and children will thrive being in a smaller group, allowing personalised and quality learning experiences to take place and children can build positive relationships. I am a registered Teacher with the Teachers registration board of South Australia and hold a master’s degree in teaching and a Diploma in Children’s Services. I have found great joy, contentment and job satisfaction in caring for and educating children. Providing an environment for children to feel safe, confident to explore, learn and grow is my top priority.

 I believe the first 5 years of a child’s life are the most crucial and lays the pattern of behaviour for the rest of their lives.

 I am a firm believer that children learn through play. When a child feels safe and has a sense of trust in their caregiver, they develop confidence and a willingness to engage in play-based learning. With this development of trust, children can learn skills, knowledge and develop dispositions to help them achieve the true potential they were born with, now and later in life.

I will work with families to ensure all their children’s needs, interests and developmental milestones are being met.

My standard hours of care are 8am-6pm and my non-standard hours are 6am-8am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
