Thank you for your review. It is unfortunate to read this feedback, and while we welcome our clients feedback unfortunately these are inaccurate and misleading. We are regulated by the Department of Education, and pride ourselves in being proved compliant to the regulations and rated exceeding in Quality Area 6 (Collaborative partnerships with families and communities, including Inclusion) with our company practices.
To avoid breaching yours and your child's confidentiality, we will not comment on the specific details however it is important to address some of the following as we have done in the past.
1. While the staffing changes are across the board in the childcare industry, not just at Scribbles and Giggles, we can confidently say that all staff members at this location have been working with us for a long period of time with no notable changes.
2. We welcome all parents into the children's classrooms, as we have invited you on many occasions however childrenās education, eating and sleeping routine is our priority and we believe having multiple visitors in the room at the same time not only interrupts their routine but also would affect the quality of supervision therefore we simply have implemented strategies to limit the number of visitors in the room at the same time. Further we have thoroughly enjoyed families joining many of our events in 2022 and this year, it was only during Covid that we were advised not to have visitors in the centre to prevent the spread of the virus.
3. KinderM8 is updated on an hourly basis with daily charts, photos, learning stories and daily journals. We share the children's learning journey each month through observations and follow up planned experiences, all shared through the app. These are in response to goal sheets and meetings held with families. In addition to the above, summative assessments are filled twice a year aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. Further developmental reports are available upon request. We are unsure of what reports you have waited for within the last 6 months as our records show these were provided to you.
4. We have not advertised NDIS, as we are not an NDIS provider. Although as mentioned above, we pride ourselves on our inclusive practices and policies. As children grow and develop, behaviours are within their typical stages of development. Building educator's capacity around with supporting each child as a unqiue individual is a continuous journey.
5. All staff working directly with children are trained in Early Childhood Education and Care with accredited certifications. This was explained to you previously that the male staff on premises are either from quality assurance and maintenance team wearing bright orange uniform or are our operations management team from head office in charge of certain duties that may involve interaction with families. It is unfortunate that our trusted male employees have been referred to as tradies, plumbers, or there has been comments made about their appearance in a family and professional environment.
We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best
