Being a first time mother, it was the most scariest thought to leave my baby behind at day care. Especially listening to all senior moms of their day care experiences in all other centres. But sagewood have reassured me and brought all of us as a family on this transition pretty smoothly. When I went in for an orientation, the educators were welcoming. We were on this transition when baby was 3 months old, she was struggling to cope the separation, i was too, and they were understanding and polite about my concerns. Michelle, the director of the centre, was respectful, non judgey, most of the time she listens to my concerns and executes a practical plan to help me through the stage aswell as my baby. My baby now doesnt cry to go in, and she is used to all the educators. My favourite is looking through the storypark app, where all the photos and reports on her day is updated. They have STEM curriculum, where you tell them what you want your baby to achieve in life skill i.e washing hands to self feeding and they will assist your kid on it. My only negative feedback is when pick up, the carer that was in charge might not be there, and often other carer pass default message "she had a good day, had fun" but that too when communicated, it was taken care of and now I get important messages that will help me take over from day care. The food provided is good to get her through. I am one of those who will feed the baby before baby leaves, and often we give her something sustainable and nutritious to get her through her day. So often she eats most or less. They focus on providing a balanced diet. Maybe can be less muffins😅 but not complaining either because they are healthy muffins too. Overall, I love the focus and direction of this early learning center, on how they thrive to nurture every individual child with equal level of care and they support everyone to achieve an equal goal to sustain appropriate life skill to help them through life. Its everything I needed and I hope team Sagewood continues to do the best job ever and please dont change it. Thank you from the bottom of the heart for helping Avantikaa through and keeping her busy whilst we are at work. Brishman & Nan
