Punchinello Kindergarten

Hidden in the heart of Balgowlah, Punchinello is a family owned, boutique learning environment for children aged 18 months - 6 years.

The Centre has been providing Childcare for families in the Balgowlah and Manly area for over 40 years and prides itself on its small, close-knit 33 place family community.

Our longstanding team of Educators provide a personalised learning journey for each child, where their developing needs and emotions are met with care and compassion. 

We believe an Early Learning Centre should be a calm, comforting and warm space where children and their families feel welcomed and enjoy a strong sense of belonging and identity. Our program is specifically designed to develop each child’s sense of self and wellbeing, connection to others and wonder and respect for the world around them. At Punchinello, each child is celebrated for their uniquely special individuality.

Our role is to work alongside families in supporting each child to reach their full potential by providing an environment that is rich for learning and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

We are open 7.30am - 6pm Monday - Friday, 50 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays.

“Dropping my son off to kindy is like dropping him to his grandparents house, it’s such a warm and friendly place full of fun. Being a smaller facility the children get lots of one on one attention and most of the staff have been there for ages, which is always a good sign.
