About Penguin Rosebud Long Daycare and Kindergarten
Welcome to Penguin Childcare Rosebud. We're ideally located for families in Rosebud, Capel Sound, Tootgarook, Beneo, Arthur’s Seat and McCrae in the Mornington Peninsula region. Our centre is conveniently located near the Yawa Aquatic Centre.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
At Penguin Childcare Rosebud, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our longstanding and dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at Penguin Childcare Rosebud including.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program:Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. Children and educators have regular opportunities for incursions and have special guests to further develop our educational programs. We also regularly welcome special community guests to the centre including librarians, emergency services and more.

Such a lovely space (large natural outdoor area - minimal concrete). Wonderful educators, many who've been there a lifetime, with much experience. Go have a look to see what I mean!

My son adores his time at Kindy and Daycare. The educators are always so helpful and accommodating. I was so nervous about putting my son into daycare and the fabulous team at Penguin have really put me at ease. My son is learning so much and comes home with amazing stories to tell of his day. We love the outdoor space that they have which is a big thing for my construction loving son. I love that every morning he wakes up the first thing he asks is if he is going to kindy today. He has made some really amazing friends and the connections he has with his teachers. Cannot recommend enough

My little one currently attends penguin and she loves it! She goes in happy each day and comes home happy. All the educators are amazing and treat her with the very best care.

My daughter started here 2 months ago and struggles with new environments. The educators have helped her to adapt to her new surroundings and she has made lots of new friends and great connections with her teachers.
