We warmly welcome you into our centre and it becomes a “home away from home” for you and your child, where the children are loved, nurtured and supported through their learning journey. Our slogan is ‘’happy children make happy parents”.We build strong relationships with the families to ensure you feel safe and secure and supported throughout and beyond your time at Hug-a-Bub.
Parents, grandparents and siblings feel a sense of belonging as they are warmly welcomed and work together with the teachers. We believe in diversity and that every child is unique and should be treated as an individual. Each child is respected and valued. Visitors to our centre always comment that the children are so happy and there is a “heimishe” feel to the place.
Children learn through play and we believe that all kinds of play is an integral part of every child’s developmental process. Throughout the day we offer a balance of free and teacher directed play, which forms the basis of our day-to-day program.
The educators see themselves as facilitators in the process of learning as they work alongside and together with the children and embark on an incredible journey of discovery each and every day they are with us.
To document each child’s journey, the Staff are proud to put together throughout the time your child is with us a beautiful portfolio book.
