Parkhurst Early Learning Centre

Parkhurst Early Learning Centre has been a trusted part of the Rockhampton community for nearly 30 years. Established in 1995, the centre has built a strong reputation for providing high quality early education and care in a welcoming, family-focused environment.

Today, Parkhurst offers a range of programs to support children and families, including Long Day Care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program, Before and After School Care, and Vacation Care for school-aged children.

The centre is known for its nurturing educators, inclusive approach, and commitment to child-led learning. With experienced and passionate staff, children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow through engaging experiences that support their development, confidence and wellbeing.

Over the years, Parkhurst has continued to evolve, including the addition of a purpose-built Kindergarten building designed to create enriching learning opportunities for children preparing for school. The centre maintains strong community connections while providing a safe, supportive and engaging environment where every child feels valued and respected.

In 2025, Parkhurst Early Learning Centre joined the Evolve Early Education family, bringing renewed focus to innovation, sustainability, educator wellbeing and exceeding-quality practice. Under the guidance of a dedicated local leadership team, the centre continues to work toward becoming one of the region’s most engaging, nature-rich and inclusive early learning environments.

Whether it’s a child’s first experience in care or their transition to school, Parkhurst Early Learning Centre is committed to ensuring every child experiences joy, learning, connection and belonging.
