My younger sister worked at this childcare and had a horrible experience. She was mistreated by the owner Jennifer as well as a manager named Shaiman. She had worked there for 1 year to complete her traineeship, she was treated like garbage and witnessed the other childcare workers yell and scream at the children. They were extremely unprofessional and honestly were disgusting. She was forced to do work which should have been carried out by a tradesmen and ended up being injured, a screw had slashed her finger and resulted in her finger now being deformed. When this incident had taken place they refused to let her go to the emergency room as there was blood squirting out uncontrollably and forced her to stay at work, she had lost so much blood and now needs plastic surgery to fix her finger. Once this event had taken place, my sister was scolded for speaking up. The owner Jennifer as well as her husband Trevor had yelled and screamed at her for being unable to work due to her injury. My sister had attended a meeting where she was underage and they would not let a parent or sibling attend with her, she was alone and was verbally abused and was called mentally ill by these horrible people. Due to my sister standing her ground. The owner had sabotaged her completing her certificate 3 in childcare, they claimed she was cheating and deleted ALL of her work from their system. I had also worked at this childcare before my younger sister and experienced the same mistreatment. They are bullies and are not here to care and look after your children. They are simply trying to make as much money as possible. Please make sure you do your research and be cautious on where and who you allow to care and love for your babies and toddlers.

Our family has been attending Oxford Green at Bass Hill for the past 3.5 years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Both of our girls have absolutely loved their time at the centre, and it’s been such a joy to see how happy and well cared for they are each day. The staff are amazing—warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a nurturing, family-oriented environment. The owners, Jennifer and Trevor, are incredibly involved and genuinely care about the children and their families. Their passion for the centre shines through in everything they do, from the thoughtful programs to the supportive atmosphere they’ve created. We feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful childcare centre and can’t recommend Oxford Green highly enough!
