Only About Children Chatswood Albert Avenue is a warm and inviting child care centre made up of two converted heritage homes in the heart of Chatswood. Children are cared for by qualified and passionate educators, in a safe and home-like environment that facilitates play-based learning that is both structured and unstructured. Children from six weeks to school aged are cared for from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm with all meals and snacks provided.
In the dedicated outdoor play space, the children can dig in the sandpit, water the veggie garden and explore the climbing equipment. Inside, the light-filled spaces use natural materials to encourage play and interaction with friends. Educators enjoy taking the children out in the local community for excursions and community activities that build on the children’s interests.

Wonderful Daycare Experience at OAC My kids absolutely love attending this daycare. One of the standout features is the large outdoor play area and garden, which gives them plenty of time outside—something we really appreciate, especially since it seems to contribute to fewer sick days. The educators are fantastic—genuinely caring, incredibly patient, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. The class sizes are just right—not too big—which ensures each child receives the attention they deserve. What really sets OAC apart is their communication. The daily updates on Storypark including all the food they eat are detailed and thoughtful, and the number of photos shared each day is just incredible. Each child even receives a personalised highlight story each month showing their interest and development. We've never seen this level of transparency and engagement at any other center. Highly recommend OAC to any parent looking for a nurturing and well-organised daycare.

Our child attends OAC at Albert Ave, Chatswood. I have always loved it there and my daughter has always enjoyed it. The staff are fantastic and Rosie is the best chef. I have to say though, since Addie started as Director and Alicia moved into the Assistant Director role, there has been a shift in a very positive way. The way the rooms are set up, the Easter day, the staff seem brighter (again, the teachers have ALWAYS been amazing). The change is extremely positive. I have always loved our daycare but now it's next level fabulous.
