I'm writing this as an educator because I've felt like there's no other choice, im really disappointed and maybe this is the only way it will make change happen. Our campus is great, our new regional manager is also great, but the lack of from support particularly from our education partner is really bad. We always get things like, "you can do this yourself, it's not my job to do this for you, im not holding your hand". The team feel really unhappy when she comes in, we all get nervous or frustrated because it always feels really judgemental. But then we get no support on how we could do better, just work it out yourself? If we knew how, we would. I know from my campus we're not the only one's that feels this way, lot of other people from different campuses do to, but we're all too scared to say anything because we know shes a favourite in head office, and she puts on a really good show for those who are watching. We are struggling with the really passive aggressive, overly firm approach. You can't say you're supporting us, but then do nothing and just rant about what you think is right. Lots of talk about no bias within the industry, but that's all we get from her in return, lots of your wrong and im right. We are tired, we want help and support, not to be spoken down to and made to feel belittled. I hope to see change otherwise, people will leave. Head office, you're not really seeing what's really happening, if you ask around we're sure you'll learn.

Utilised Flexi Care as we were visiting Melbourne for Christmas and staying in the area but still needed to work remotely. My kids attend OAC in Sydney so having the consistent branding meant they knew what they were walking in to and were immediately comfortable in the environment. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming and I received updates through the day so I knew my kids were having a great time!
Response from the owner7 months agoThank you, Sivan, for sharing your experience with our Flexi Care program! We’re so pleased to hear that the consistent branding across our campuses helped your children feel comfortable and at ease, even while away from their usual environment. It’s wonderful to know that you found our team welcoming and that the updates throughout the day gave you peace of mind. We’re glad we could support your family during your time in Melbourne and hope you had a fantastic holiday season. Warm regards, The OAC Team
