About North East Community Children's Centre
We are a non-for-profit, Community Based centre.
Explore what nature has to offer in our large open spaces allowing your child to investigate, build curiosity, and explore our beautiful surroundings. We believe children learn best in natural spaces and with access to the natural environment. We have three different outdoor spaces, one dedicated to each age group, with the Pre-School garden being the most expansive outdoor space.
We have a long term team of Educators, providing stability and continuity of care for children. Primary caregiving allows us to build strong relationships with families and children to ensure an individualised approach to planning and care for every child which is then documented and sent to families through our app.
Our daily fee not only gives you high quality Educators for your child but it also means we provide freshly cooked meals as well as nappies, wipes, sunscreen and individual bedding at no extra charge. We also have an amazing event calendar with different incursions coming to the centre each month, which is also at no extra cost.
We especially love our quarterly family/caregiver nights where we welcome everyone in the centre to come and play with different experiences. These gatherings allow families to connect with one another and/or have in depth conversations with the Educators.

My 2yo son has been attending NECCC 3 days a week for a few months now and has been having the best time. We looked at so many centres before we found this one but the moment we walked through the door we knew this was the right fit for us. My son has some special needs and the staff go above and beyond to make sure he is happy and safe. I can’t say enough good things about this centre and the fact that it’s community based is so important to us. Thanks so much to Viv and team for all you do for our boy.

Definitely 5 stars! My older son had attended NECCC since one year old. He had good time at this centre. Staff were lovely and activities were well designed and children focused. I created two photo albums for his happy time at NECCC and I feel blessed each time when I look at those photos. It is just a great experience. I had to send my younger daughter to another centre due to multiple reasons. Now I transferred her back to NECCC and that’s the very right choice I’ve made. I still feel home when I walked into the centre with my little girl as all staff are still here!! My little girl settled very well here and I can tell she is also having good time at the centre. Staff here truly care about children and know about your child. The whole team is absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!
