About Norma's Nest Family Day Care

Family Day Care now open in Windsor - Educator to child ratio: 1 Educator to 4 children per day between 0-5years. Vacancies are available.

Located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in Windsor only 4km from the Brisbane CBD with the convenience of public transport options nearby for parents working in the city.

Homely atmosphere with air-conditioned play area and separate bedroom, large shaded undercover play area downstairs leading out to a large lawned area with fruit trees.

I am a mother of two adult sons and a ‘hands on’ grandmother to my four grandchildren. Since having my most recent grandchild, I decided to change my career direction to family day care as I love being around children and want to be able to assist them to develop and discover the world around them in a safe and secure home environment.

We have been at Norma’s Nest for over 3 years now, having sent both of our boys there. It’s a true family environment. Norma takes as much care with our children as we do and really takes the time to get to know them and their interests. She is always updating her toys based on what they like to play with. She has become part of our family now too. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough, especially given our second took a lot more adjustment and Norma was so patient with him. He loves going there now and that’s 100% because she put in the effort to really get to know him and care for him. The facilities are also amazing and always well kept, with a huge backyard full of fun activities for the kids.

It has been such a joy to watch them grow with you from babies into happy energetic little boys. They are well-loved by all the children across all age groups and still hold some long-standing friendships outside the Nest environment which is so wonderful.
