Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, Nido Early School offers a warm and nurturing learning environment. Following a Reggio Emilia inspired approach, the educators engage the children in fun, play-based learning. They deliver an innovative program that helps children to develop the skills they’ll need to successfully transition to primary school.
The light-filled interiors are bright and inspiring, drawing the children into their learning. The rooms are well resourced with calming, natural resources, with each room catering to different learning styles and offering ample space for both individual play and group activities.
Outdoors, the children are free to explore the incredible play area and immerse themselves in nature. While they play, they develop their gross motor and physical skills and also work on their social skills, such as sharing and communication. The children are encouraged to use their imagination and create their own adventures while they play.

A Truly Outstanding Early Learning Centre – 10/10 It’s a mystery why Nido doesn’t already have dozens of glowing 5-star reviews — this centre is absolutely exceptional. The educators are nurturing, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s wellbeing and development. Management is proactive, approachable, and leads with care and confidence. The rooms are spotless, calming, and beautifully arranged to support both play and learning. The garden is incredible — a vibrant, engaging outdoor space that encourages exploration and creates magical core memories for the kids. Our child feels safe, happy, and truly cherished here. Daily drop-offs and pick-ups are smooth and stress-free. Nappies are provided, and the meals are wholesome, thoughtfully prepared, and genuinely enjoyed by the children. The atmosphere is warm, joyful, and full of positive energy. We’re so grateful to have found Nido — thank you to the amazing team for all you do!

My son has been attending Nido Mt Hawthorn since he was just four months old, and the care he has received has been exceptional. The centre's manager has truly ensured that the centre runs smoothly and efficiently. The staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children.
