The Nido Greenwood team have shown the utmost care and compassion in looking after my two kids (toddler2/kinder1 and nursery rooms). My eldest has multiple medical diagnoses and Nido have been fantastic with staff education and communication in keeping her safe and healthy. My youngest only started a few months ago but it has felt like an extension of family care at Nido. The educators have gone out of their way to understand his personality and preferences and give the hands on comfort he has needed during this transition. I feel the level of communication the staff provide is great as I recognise how much time it takes to provide the hands on interaction they give to all the kids. Whilst staff turnover has occurred within the past 12 months I think that is normal in this industry. Both kids have formed secure attachments with various staff as even the casual staff are regulars at Greenwood. The educators and management staff ( who regularly help out in the rooms) are amazing and show such care and enthusiasm when interacting with the kids.

We wait for almost 2 years to get my son into the centre. It was so disappointed how the centre becomes very let down. There were changing in management team and educator when we started. It was a huge let down when my son was under their care . We stayed for about 10 weeks and only received photos update of my son 3 times . We have been to another childcare and they send us updated at least once a day. We now at new childcare centre and they does the same . It's so hard for me as a mum to leave my child with someone else . Seeing him and get updated about his day is very important. He get very very anxious every time I drop him off which is very not like him. We have him in other childcare and never have issues. No reception on Friday during the time we attended the centre which is another letdown . My son come home with a scratch on forehead and no-one can confirm anything till Monday when they finally have some at front desk. It was very stressful time when we attended here and huge relief when we find better childcare that we attended now . I have inform the manager about my concerns, they agree to meet and chat but I decided to leave instead. No a word or expression that they care when we leaving. Just whatever, we are no longer their problem . We not the problem just FYI . Your service is very poor.

Words can’t express how upset I am at the lack of basic care. I killed my two year old within a matter of weeks because of what I witnessed and experienced. No updates are given to us as parents for basic care. My child was distressed and going home starving and clear instructions I gave re eating and sleep were not followed. Staff were changed every day with no consistency in care. We are glad to be leaving. Would not recommend.

It’s a tough & often under appreciated job being a childcare worker, but everyone I’ve spoken with at Nido since my daughter went into the nursery has come across as being a genuinely caring person. Mistakes may be made, but it’s not from lack of effort or compassion. The logistics of running early childcare centres are insane and it’s hard to find quality, long-term employees. Taylah in the nursery is an absolute saint and a beautiful person. The babies & Nido are very lucky to have her. Same goes for Nicole! Thanks for all your tireless hard work, ladies!
