Deeply Disappointed After Nearly Two Years on the Waitlist!! We joined the waitlist for a spot for our daughter on 13 February 2024, she was 11 months old, and as of today 18 November 2025, we are still waiting. That’s almost two years of hope, planning, and trust, only to be met with silence and disappointment. When we received the last letter saying we were unsuccessful, quote “We regret to advise that our enrolment allocation for January 2026 is at capacity, and we are unable to offer placement for your child”, I called immediately and left a message asking for a callback. No one ever returned my call. Throughout this time, I rang every few months to confirm we were still interested because this spot mattered to us. We were counting on it. I needed to return to work. I understood the waitlist would be long and to expect to wait about a year - and I was willing to wait. But two years? That’s not okay. I truly believe a mistake has been made. What hurts most is the lack of care, communication, and accountability. Families trust and rely on childcares and schools, and that trust should come with respect and transparency. Instead, we’ve been left feeling ignored, forgotten, and deeply let down. If you’re considering Nazareth Early Childhood Center, please know that you too may be forgotten after all the waiting and hoping. Our experience has been heartbreaking. We expected and deserved better.
