Nature Play DECD Family Day Care

My name is Ali Fleming. I live with my husband Darren and our two children Rose (17) and Jack (13) our dog Patch, cat Thunder, a few chooks and a Bearded Dragon called Peach in our family home in Para Hills. I have worked with children for 25 years and have provided care, education and support to children and their families in a range of settings in a variety of roles including; as a nanny- both in Australia and overseas, as a Child Care Professional, Assistant Director in child care centres, as a Qualified Teacher in kindergartens and an Early Childhood Early Intervention Therapist.

I am an Early Years Specialist holding a Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Children’s Services and Certificate 3 in Children’s Services. I have current certificates in DCSI Child Related Employment Screening Clearance, Emergency First Aid including Asthma and Anaphalaxis and I am a Mandated Notifier (I have a moral and legal obligation to report any suspicion of child abuse or neglect).

Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) approved service Tuesday-Thursday 8am-5pm $17 per hour

I am passionate about providing learning in environments that immerse all of our senses. I strive to  supporting children to grow holistically and have skills and experience in Early Intervention. I believe positive relationships are central to developing feelings of wellbeing and I consider it vital that a connection is established with each child from day one.
