Nambucca Heads Pre-School Playcentre

Nambucca Heads Preschool Playcentre is a not-for-profit early childhood educational service that incorporates strategic planning for future viability of the service with profit being directed back to the service creating a caring, nurturing well-resourced learning/playing environment for all children in the local community aged 2-5years. It is funded, licensed and regulated by the NSW Department of Education (Early Childhood Education and Care Directorate) and also receives funding for children with additional needs, which enables the pre-school service to be accessible to all children within the Nambucca Valley community. The Preschool National Quality Standard overall rating is that of Meeting National Quality Standard with Exceeding National Quality Standard in Quality Area 5: Relationships with children.

<br>The Preschool has two rooms:

<br>Blue Room - 16 placements for children 3 to 4 years of age. There is a designated day for children aged 2 and under 3 years of age with limited placements available. Green Room - 20 placements for children 4 to 5 years of age who are getting ready to go to Primary School.

<br>The Preschool openly accepts children with disabilities and/or special needs and, in consultation with parents/carers, can employ a specialist staff member/s to assist meeting learning and/or developmental objectives.
