Mother Duck ChildCare and Kindergarten Centre - Carindale

We have been a part of the MotherDuck family for the last 2+ years and have always been so impressed by the service. From the first moment, we walked through, we felt reassured and welcome. The centre focusses on meaningful learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). We have seen our little one flourish and grow in confidence from the interactions and learning experiences he has encountered. There is thoughtful planning that is implemented, with integration of lots of every day items and nature, instead of technology or store bought toys which has encouraged our child’s imagination and creativity. The centre has an onsite chef, that makes meals daily with a rotating menu each week. This is very handy for us, especially as we are a working family with minimal time to prep lunchboxes. There are four different groups of children, dependent on their age, with opportunity for the children to play together in shared spaces (I.e., yard). There younger children play in a seperate yard to the older children, which is great for the little bubs who are still learning to navigate the world. Regular communication is available and we have found that usually staff are rostered to have someone from our child’s class available to provide details of his day. There are fortnightly snapshots which have pictures and information on the activities engaged by the children.

So happy we found this centre! The educators and staff are all so friendly, our kids love them all. The communication is amazing and there are so many exciting activities for the kids. The rooms are beautiful and the outdoor space is too. I feel very at ease sending our boys here as I know they are cared for extremely well. We're so thankful to everyone at the centre. They all work extremely hard but you can tell they love what they do.
