I visited this BP service station on Saturday afternoon, 3 October, specifically to use the $25 premium car wash. The attendant recommended the premium wash and told me it was very good, so I decided to go ahead with it.

Unfortunately, during the wash, I noticed that no foam or wax appeared to be coming out at all. It essentially seemed like my car was receiving nothing more than a basic water wash, despite paying for the premium service.

To make matters worse, the car wash machine broke the rear licence plate holder/attachment on my vehicle, leaving the plate completely broken off.

After the wash, I went back to raise these issues. I also pointed out that the surface of the vehicle still felt sandy and dirty, despite paying for the premium wash. Rather than showing concern or trying to resolve the problem, the attendant became angry and responded with “What do you expect for $25?” He then used profane and inappropriate language toward me.

The attitude and lack of ownership were extremely disappointing. If a customer pays for a premium service, they should receive the service advertised and, if something goes wrong, the appropriate response should be an apology and an attempt to resolve the issue—not aggression, profanity and dismissive comments.

The car wash itself was disappointing, the vehicle was damaged, and the customer service afterward was unacceptable. I would strongly caution others about using this car wash.
